Petty and Henry, the co-founders of Limelight Studio, bring a wealth of experience from their years as senior stylists at Singapore Mediacorp. Their impressive portfolio spans Chinese and English dramas, news segments, and variety shows, and they have had the honor of styling numerous Singaporean ministers. Their expertise covers hairdressing, beauty makeup, special effects makeup, and costume design.
In 2021, Petty and Henry embarked on a new journey, founding Limelight Studio. Their exceptional talent quickly attracted a loyal clientele, including artists, media celebrities, and KOLs. Limelight Studio’s clients, gracing stages, commercials, films, and magazine covers, are the living embodiments of the studio’s artistry and reputation.

RISING REPUTATION
Limelight Studio gained prominence by overseeing makeup for the Singapore Night Festival’s drama, “The Curse of the Missing Red Shoe,” in 2022.
Their achievements attracted the attention of Lianhe Zaobao, a significant newspaper in Singapore, where they were invited to share insights on fashion trends and DIY makeup and hairstyling.
EXCLUSIVE PARTNERSHIPS & RECOGNITION
In January 2023, Limelight Studio was appointed as the exclusive makeup and hair partner for the costume show, “Hua Chun Xin Cai,” at the Lunar New Year Event hosted by the Chinese Embassy.
Their success at this event garnered recognition from esteemed figures like Sun Haiyan, the Chinese Ambassador, and Heng Swee Keat, Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore.
EXPANSION & AWARDS
Limelight Studio’s portfolio expanded to include prestigious events such as the Pinwheels Content Creator Awards and the Star Awards 2023, where they styled hosts and celebrities such as Priscillaabby, Że Liang, Juin Tay, Cheris Lee, YangGuang Kele, and Shin.
Petty and Henry were honored with the ‘2023 Outstanding Stylist Award’ at China Fashion Beauty Week and were invited as image instructors for the CCAC China Children’s Model Competition later that year.
INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION
Their journey of growth and recognition reached new heights when they were invited to participate in China International Fashion Week 2024SS. Collaborating with brands like MOE HO末禾, Play Top, and Lacrimatory, they brought their expertise in makeup and hairstyling to complement the cutting-edge fashion showcased at the event.
ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY ACKNOWLEDGMENT
Following their success at China International Fashion Week, Petty and Henry’s expertise caught the attention of the entertainment industry. They were invited to style artists for the 34th Singapore International Film Festival, where they worked with prominent figures like Peter Yu and Doreen Toh. Their ability to enhance the natural beauty of these artists with their skilled makeup and hairstyling further solidified Limelight Studio’s reputation as a leading authority in the industry.
