Precision colour correction, on the other hand, is a more intensive process designed to fix uneven colour, remove unwanted tones, or transition from dark to light hair safely. It requires advanced expertise and multiple steps to achieve the desired result without damaging the hair. Our creative director Henry, a Dyson Master and former Mediacorp senior stylist, personally oversees complex colour corrections to ensure the highest quality outcome.

At Limelight Studio, our certified colour consultants—who hold accreditation from the China Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA)—analyse your skin’s undertone (warm or cool), value (light or dark), and chroma (soft or clear) to categorise you into one of four seasonal palettes: Spring, Summer, Autumn, or Winter. Understanding your seasonal palette helps you make confident choices in clothing, makeup, and hair colour, ensuring that everything you wear enhances your natural features. Many clients report that after a colour analysis, they receive more compliments, shop more efficiently, and no longer waste money on colours that do not suit them. The session takes approximately 60 to 90 minutes and includes a personalised colour swatch guide.

A perm session at Limelight Studio typically takes 4 to 5 hours, depending on hair length, thickness, and the complexity of the desired curl pattern. A full hair colouring session, including balayage or precision colour correction, generally takes 3 to 4 hours. We recommend setting aside sufficient time for your appointment to ensure the best results without rushing. After your session, you should avoid washing your hair for 48 to 72 hours to allow the perm or colour to fully set. We also recommend using sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner, applying a weekly hair mask, and returning for a scalp or hair treatment every 4 to 6 weeks to maintain hair health. For permed hair, we suggest scheduling a follow-up appointment after 3 months, and for coloured hair, a root touch-up or refresh after 2 months.

Limelight Studio offers a VIP prepaid credits system that allows clients to pre-load a balance and enjoy priority booking and seamless payment for all services. When you sign up for a VIP membership, your prepaid balance can be used across all services—including hair, makeup, nails, eyelashes, and treatments—simply by selecting “VIP credits” as your payment method at each visit. The VIP credits are valid for one year from the date of top-up, and each top-up automatically extends the validity for another 12 months. VIP members also enjoy priority scheduling, especially during peak periods and festive seasons. Additionally, our referral programme rewards existing clients with 50 points for each referred client who becomes a VIP member, and 10 points for each referred client who completes a single session. Points can be redeemed for products and services at our in-studio rewards store.

Our treatments include deep conditioning masks, scalp detox and deep cleansing, protein reconstruction for chemically treated hair, and scalp serum infusion therapies. Each treatment begins with a complimentary scalp analysis using magnifying technology to assess your scalp condition and identify issues such as clogged follicles, inflammation, or excessive oil production. We recommend treatments every 4 to 6 weeks for optimal results. Clients who frequently colour or perm their hair, experience scalp discomfort, or notice changes in hair texture or volume will benefit most from our treatment services. As a Dyson partner, we also provide guidance on at-home hair care using professional-grade tools.
